LITTLE MOON

Little Moon, fully renovated 1950 Aljo trailer, found buried past its axles in Mojave. Named after her original owner, a Native American woman named Little Moon, whose birth certificate was found inside the trailer. I bartered with the land owner to dig this trailer out of the dried mud it had sunk into. After he agreed, it took my son and I an entire day to jack her out of the mud, fix the axels, put new wheels on her, duct tape everything shut and drive her 5 hours back to the workshop. I was able to register her after some work and then the restoration process began. It took three months of full time work with myself and a helper to strip, rebuild the structural integrity, resurface, bend wood and rebuild cabinets, kitchen and bath, finish and decorate. The results can be seen below.
